THE OBJECTIVE OF THE TEACHING IS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CONTEMPORARY IMAGINARY, STARTING FROM PRECISE THEORETICAL PATHS AND INVESTIGATING A SERIES OF PRACTICES THAT PASS THROUGH DIFFERENT LANGUAGES AND FORMS OF THE CLASSICAL MEDIA (FROM MOVIES TO COMICS AND TV FICTION) TO COME TO THE AUDIOVISUAL CULTURES THAT MARK THE CURRENT DIGITAL ERA. RELATED OBJECTIVE IS TO DEVELOP STUDENTS KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING AND ABILITY TO APPLY SUCH KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING IN RELATION TO THE IDENTIFICATION OF SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND MODELS THAT CHARACTERIZE THE CONTEMPORARY IMAGINARY. |

THE TEACHING IS DEVELOPED BY FOLLOWING TWO COMPLEMENTARY LINES: 1) HISTORY, THEORY AND METHODOLOGY OF THE IMAGINARY AND ITS SOCIAL-CULTURAL RELEVANCE; 2) ANALYSIS OF "CASE HISTORY" BETWEEN CINEMA, COMIC STRIPS, SERIAL AND AUTHOR FICTION, ADVERTISING, ART VIDEOS AND ON THE WEB ETC. SPECIAL ATTENTION WILL BE GIVEN TO RELATIONS FROM GENERATIONS AND CONSUMPTION, AUDIENCE, TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION IN ITS RELATIONS WITH IMAGINARY CHANGES. |
