KNOWLEDGE OF CONCEPTS, MODELS, TECHNOLOGIES AND ARCHITECTURES FOR CLOUD COMPUTING

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
KNOWLEDGE OF THE PROBLEMS REGARDING THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND DEPLOYMENT OF CLOUD COMPUTING SOLUTIONS. UNDESTANDING OF THE MECHANISMS FOR TECHNOLIGICAL AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT OF CLOUD COMPUTING SOLUTIONS.

APPLIED KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
EVALUATE THE COST/BENEFIT TRADE-OFF OF OF CLOUD COMPUTING SOLUTIONS. DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING CLOUD COMPUTING SOLUTIONS. MONITOR THE EVOLUTION AND THE MANAGEMENT OF CLOUD COMPUTING SOLUTIONS.

MAKING JUDGEMENTS
THE STUDENST WILL BE ABLE TO EVALUATE THE EFFICACY AND THE PERFORMANCE OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTIONS AVAILABLE ON THE MARKET.

COMMUNICATION SKILL
THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO REORT IN WRITING THE PROJECT DEVELOPMENT BY USING THE APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY TERMINOLOGY AND THE ADEQUANTE SCIENTIFIC FORMALISM. THE STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO GIVE AN ORAL PRESENTATION OF TEH PROJECT RESULTS AND TO DISCISS THE COST/BENEFIT OF THE PROPOSED SOLUTION.

Teaching Methods
THE COURSE INCLUDES LECTURES AND PRACTICE. DURING PRACTICE, SMALL STUDENT TEAMS ARE ASSIGNED EXERCISES THAT REQUIRED THE APPLICATION OF THE CONCEPT PRESENTED DURING THE LECTURE AND ARE DISCUSSED THE SOLUTIONS PROPOSED BY THE TEAMS. AT THE END OF THE CLASS, EACH TEAM MUST DEVELOP A PROJECT THAT INCLUDES INTO A UNITARY FRAMEWORK SOME OF THE TOPICS OF THE COURSE, AND IS INSTRUMENTAL FOR PROVIDING THE STUDENT WITH THE SKILL FOR APPLYING THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORKING IN TEAM.
Verification of learning
THE FINAL EVALUATION IS BY ORAL EXAMINATION AND THE PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT. THE GRADE IS THE WEIGHTED SUM OF PROJECT CONTENT (50%), PROJECT PRESENTATION (20%) AND ORAL EXAMINATION (30%)
