Luca RASTRELLI | Curriculum

prof. Luca Rastrelli is Full Professor in Food Chemistry, at the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Salerno. He is a member of the Board of Professors of the PhD in Scienze del Farmaco and of the School of Specialization in Hospital Pharmacy at the same Department.

He received the title of Honorary Professor at the SUR University of Lima, Peru, in 2004 and has been a Permanent Invited Professor at the University of Havana (Cuba) since 2009

• Luca Rastrelli is Secretary General of the SILAE Foundation (Italian-Latin American Society of Ethnomedicine).
• He is Director of the Postgraduate Course in Diets and Nutritional Ketogenic Therapies: Supplements and Nutraceuticals (NutriKeto) at the Pharmacy Department of the University of Salerno
• He is the Head of the Clinical Nutrition Laboratory (NutriKeto_Lab) at the “G. Moscati “of Avellino
• He is Associate Editor of the journal Frontiers in Pharmacology (Ethnopharmacology)
• He is Editor of Pharmacologyonline journal

Since 1992 he has produced more than 200 articles in international journals and numerous book chapters. Main research lines: food chemistry and analytical chemistry, clinical nutrition, phytochemistry and phytotherapy, supplement and nutraceutical formulation.
