Roberto Guglielmo CITARELLA Curriculum
Doctor degree and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in '94 and in '99, respectively, both at University of Naples, IT. In 1996 received the diploma for a master in Business Administration (MBA) at the school “Stoà” in Naples. From 2005 to 2015 was Assistant Professor, from 2015 to 2022 was Associate Professor, since October 2022 has been appointed full Professor, in the scientific group of Machine Design at department of Industrial Engineering of University of Salerno. He was Visiting Researcher at the Wessex Institute of Technology in 1996, Southampton (UK) and at the Queen Mary and Westfield College, London (UK), in 1998 and 2000. He was member of: International Scientific Advisory Committee for the international conference “Fatigue Damage of Materials 2003”, Referee group for the first european call FP7 Transport-Aeronautics, organisation committee for the international conference BeTeq 2007. Involved, as main investigator and member, in several national research activities. He collaborates with prestigious international research centers . He is Fellow of Wessex Institute of Technology. His main topics of research are: Boundary Element Method, Vibrational Acoustics, Bioengineering, Fracture Mechanics, Thermomechanical Fatigue. He has published nearly 180 technical papers on international peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He serves as a member of the editorial board of several prestigious journals.
