THE COURSE INTRODUCES THE BASIC ELEMENTS OF GENERAL PHYSICS, MEDICAL STATISTICS, ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC MEASUREMENTS AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEMS. IN PARTICULAR, IN ADDITION TO THE BASIC ELEMENTS, THE ASPECTS RELATED TO DIAGNOSTICS FOR SURVEYS WILL BE ANALYZED. |

THE COURSE CONSISTS OF MODULES: GENERAL PHYSICS WITH 3 CFU, MEDICAL STATISTICS WITH 2 CFU, ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC MEASUREMENTS WITH 2 CFU AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEMS WITH 2 CFU. TEACHING INCLUDES LESSONS IN WHICH THE FOLLOWING TOPICS WILL BE ADDRESSED: PHYSICAL QUANTITIES AND THEIR MEASUREMENT. MECHANICS. MECHANICS OF LIQUIDS. THERMODYNAMICS. DATA ANALYSIS. VARIABILITY INDEXES. REPRESENTATIONS. DISTRIBUTIONS. REGRESSION. ANALYSIS OF VARIANCE AND T-TEST. CHI SQUARE TEST. MULTIVARIATE ANALYSIS. SURVIVAL ANALYSIS. ELEMENTS OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING. THE COURSE CONSISTS OF FRONTAL LECTURES FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF 108 HOURS. THE ATTENDANCE TO LECTURES AND LABORATORY PRACTICE IS MANDATORY. IN ORDER TO GIVE THE FINAL EXAM, THE STUDENT SHOULD HAVE ATTENDED AT LEAST 75% OF THE HOURS OF THE COURSE. THE PRESENCE CHECKING MODE IS NOTIFIED BY THE DOCENT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE LESSONS. |

THE TEST GLOBALLY ALLOWS TO ASSESS THE KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY OF COMPREHENSION, THE ABILITY TO APPLY THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, THE ABILITY OF EXPOSURE AND THE ABILITY TO EXPLAIN AND TO PROCESS SOLUTIONS WITH AN INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT. THE LECTURERS OF THE COORDINATED MODULES PARTICIPATE TO THE COLLEGIAL ASSESSMENT OF THE STUDENT PROFIT. |
