Objectives
ATTENDING AT THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE COURSE, STUDENTS WILL ACQUIRE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES BOTH IN THE ANALYSIS AND IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ORGANIZATIONAL PROCESSES. IN PARTICULAR, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO INVESTIGATE THE MAIN PROCESSES REALIZED IN AN IDEAL FIRM, IDENTIFYING THE BEST METHODS TO DEPICT THEM IN A REALISTIC AND EFFECTIVE WAY; ACCORDING TO THEM, THEY WILL BE SUPPORTED IN SELECTING THE MOST SUITABLE CHOICES OF PROCESSES REENGINEERING WITH THE AIM OF IMPROVING BOTH ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY. BESIDES, STUDENTS WILL EARN A SOLID THEORETICAL AND EMPIRICAL EXPERTISE IN THE FIELD OF QUALITY ACCREDITATION SYSTEMS. THE CONTENT OF THE COURSE WILL BE BUILT ACCORDING TO THE INNOVATIVE COMPLEXITY MANAGEMENT APPROACH. STUDENTS WILL BE PROFICIENT WITH THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF COMPLEXITY MANAGEMENT, APPLYING AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO THE ANALYSIS AND THE MANAGEMENT OF ORGANIZATIONAL PROCESSES. THE ATTENTION WILL BE FOCUSED ON THE MOST IMPORTANT ORGANIZATIONAL PROCESSES AND, AMONG OTHERS, ON THE QUALITY ACCREDITATION SYSTEMS. LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, STUDENTS WILL ACHIEVE STRONG COMPETENCIES IN REGARDS TO THE ACCREDITATION OF INFORMATION SERVICES, AS WELL AS TO THE COMMUNICATION OF QUALITY ACHIEVEMENTS TO THEIR STAKEHOLDERS. STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO DEAL WITH THE MAIN ISSUES IN THE FIELD OF ORGANIZATIONAL PROCESSES ANALYSIS AND MANAGEMENT. THE SOCIAL CAPITAL AND THE COMMUNICATIONAL ABILITIES OF THE STUDENTS WILL BE INCITED THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF PROJECT WORKS REALIZED IN TEAM BY THE STUDENTS. BESIDES, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO DISCUSS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ISSUES ABOUT QUALITY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION, BOTH WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION.
