Objectives
FOR "MASSIVE DATA MANAGEMENT" CURRICULUM, THE COURSE IS "QUALITY MANAGEMENT, LEADERSHIP AND DECISION MAKING". FOR THE CURRICULUM "CYBER RISK MANAGEMENT FOR ADVANCED DEFENCE STRATEGIES", THE COURSE IS "RISK MANAGEMENT, LEADERSHIP AND DECISION MAKING".

THE COURSE IS THEREFORE ARTICULATED IN TWO MODULES. THE FIRST MODULE CHANGES WITH THE CURRICULUM CHOSEN BY THE STUDENT. THE SECOND MODULE, “LEADERSHIP AND DECISION MAKING”, IS IDENTICAL FOR BOTH CURRICULA. THE FIRST MODULE, IN THE “MASSIVE DATA MANAGEMENT” CURRICULUM, IS REPRESENTED BY “QUALITY MANAGEMENT”, WHILE IN THE “CYBER RISK MANAGEMENT FOR ADVANCED DEFENSE STRATEGIES” CURRICULUM, THE FIRST MODULE IS REPRESENTED BY “RISK MANAGEMENT”.

WITH RESPECT TO "QUALITY MANAGEMENT", THE MODULE INTENDS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH KNOWLEDGE RELATED TO QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEMS AND TOOLS, METHODOLOGIES AND ANALYSIS PROCESSES FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF QUALITY CERTIFICATION MODELS.

WITH RESPECT TO "RISK MANAGEMENT", THE OBJECTIVE OF THE MODULE IS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH THE BASIC CONCEPTS RELATING TO RISK MANAGEMENT (IDENTIFICATION, EVALUATION AND MITIGATION) IN THE CORPORATE ENVIRONMENT.

WITH RESPECT TO "LEADERSHIP AND DECISION MAKING", THE FOCUS WILL BE MAINLY ON LEADERSHIP AND DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES, IN ORDER TO PROMOTE A CULTURE OF ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE IN COMPLEX ENVIRONMENTS. STUDENTS WILL DEVELOP AWARENESS OF THE COMPLEXITY THAT CHARACTERIZES LEADERSHIP AND DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES WITHIN ORGANIZATIONAL SYSTEMS.
