Antonio MASSA Curriculum

Antonio Massa graduated in Chemistry at the University of Salerno in 1996 cum laude.
He worked as researched in the company Montefibre S.p.A. from 1996 to 1999.
In 2003 he received his PhD in Chemistry at the University of Salerno.
Since 2015 he is associate professor in Organic Chemistry (CHIM/06) at Department of Chemistry and Biology of University of Salerno.
He has also conducted research activity at the Department of Chemistry of University of Glasgow (UK) in 2002 and at the SCRIPPS Research Institute in San Diego (California) in 2008 as visiting investigator.
Antonio is author of over 70 publications in international journals, 4 book chapters, 2 italian patents and numerous presentations at national and international congresses.
In 2008 he received the Fulbrigh award.
His research activity mainly focus on the development of new asymmetric organocatalytic reactions and of new methodologies for the synthesis of biologically active compounds.
He is also responsible for cooperation projects with several chemical companies (CHEMI S,p,A.; SOLENIS; SIMMEL; ALTERGON).
