The aim of this project is twofold: first it investigates the role of job characteristics on overall job satisfaction in Italy distinguishing between men and women. It aims to test the fact that if women are more satisfied of their jobs they will have intrinsic rewards, such as more support, more recognition for their work or less time pressure, on the other side they may express less satisfaction
