THE COURSE PROVIDES AN IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS OF THE LABOR MARKET AND THE MAIN PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED TO IT. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE COURSE AIMS TO PRESENT SOME PROBLEMS OF THE LABOR MARKET, ITS REGULATION, THE PROBLEMS OF DISCRIMINATION AND INEQUALITY, THE ACTIVE AND PASSIVE ECONOMIC POLICIES AND FINALLY THE EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS THAT ALLOW TO STUDY THE CAUSES AND THE EFFECTS OF ALL THE PROBLEMS ANALYSED. THE COURSE PROVIDES THE TOOLS TO STUDY THE LABOR MARKET AND THE PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH IT. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND AND SOLVE LABOR ECONOMY ANALYSIS PROBLEMS; APPLYING THE KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED TO A RANGE OF TYPICAL DECISION-MAKING PROBLEMS OF CONSUMERS, PRODUCERS AND PRIVATE AND PUBLIC ECONOMIC INSTITUTIONS. THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ASSESS THE EFFECT OF ECONOMIC POLICIES IN SUPPORT OF THE LABOR MARKET AND TO TRY TO UNDERSTAND AND IDENTIFY POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS ANALYZED. |

THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE TEACHING IS CERTIFIED BY PASSING AN EXAMINATION EVALUATED IN THIRTEENTHS. THE EXAMINATION CONSISTS OF A WRITTEN TEST LASTING ONE HOUR AND THIRTY MINUTES AND AN ORAL TEST OF15 MINUTES. THE WRITTEN TEST CONSISTS OF THREE QUESTIONS WITH DISCUSSION ON THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENTS INDICATED IN THE TEACHING PROGRAM. THE ORAL TEST IS FINALIZED TO THE DISCUSSION OF ONE OF THE ARTICLES SELECTED FROM THE READING LIST INDICATED BY THE PROFESSOR. THE EXAMINATION AIMS AT VERIFY THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND CAPACITY OF UNDERSTANDING REACHED BY THE STUDENT, AS WELL AS TO VERIFY THE ABILITY OF EXPOSITION REFERRING TO APPROPRIATE TERMINOLOGY AND THE ABILITY TO ORGANIZE AUTONOMOUSLY THE EXPOSITION ON THE SAME THEORETICAL CONTENT TOPICS. |
