THE COURSE AIMS TO MAKE STUDENTS ACQUIRE A PROPER METHOD OF STUDY, A BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF HISTORIOGRAPHY AND INSTITUTIONAL, POLITICAL AND MILITARY HISTORY OF THE GREEKS, THE ABILITY TO PLACE FACTS AND PROBLEMS IN TIME AND SPACE, TO EXAMINE PROPERLY A DOCUMENT AND READ A MANUAL, THE AWARENESS OF THE NEED FOR A CRITICAL EXAMINATION OF SOURCES AND OF THE MODERN BIBLIOGRAPHY, THE ABILITY TO EXPOSE WHAT HAS BEEN LEARNED IN THE CORRECT AND ORGANIC FORM AND TO FORMULATE AND ARGUE IDEAS IN THE CORRECT FORM. |
