Mariassunta IMBRENDA Curriculum

Graduated with honours in Law at the L.U.I.S.S. - Guido Carli University of Rome in 1991 with a thesis on the Law of Civil Procedure Relating to the Protection of Rights in Camera Proceedings. Specialized in Civil Law at
the University of Camerino in 1996. Ph.D. in Civil Law “Problemi civilistici della persona” in 2001.
Since 2001 she is Associate Professor teaching Private Law at the Faculty of Economics, University of Salerno, within the Business Administration Course, Economics and Business Management curricula.
Over the years she has been teaching at graduate and undergraduate courses in Antitrust Law, Business Contract Law, Consumer Law, Banking and Insurance Law, Transport Law, Information and Network Law.
Since 2010 she is full Professor of Private Law. In the Academic year 2000/01 she was Professor of Private Law Institutions at the Faculty of Economics, University of Calabria; from 2002/03 to 2005/06 she has been teaching Wine Law at the Faculty of Agricultural Science of the University of Basilicata and within the Master Course in  “Viticulture and oenology” (1st and 2nd edition) of the same University.
She has been teaching Theory of asset transfer (in the academic year 2006/07) and since 2007/08 Property Relations in the Family at the Specialization School in Civil Law – University of Camerino.
From 2004/05 to 2009/10 she has been teaching Methodology of Research and Legal Theory within the Doctoral Programme on “The EU and Constitution principles and the Globalization of Markets” at the University of Salerno.
Former member of the Board of Professors of the Doctoral Programme on “Civil Problems of Person” at the University of Sannio; since 2011 she is a member of the Board of Professors of the Doctoral Programme on “Diritto internazionale e diritto interno in materia internazionale: Public Ethics, Person, Stakeholders and CSR (Coprorate Social Responsability)” (PESPECO). She is the scientific responsible of the Observatory on “Nuovi beni e circolazione giuridica” (New goods and legal transfer), created in 2012 within SIDEM (now Department of Law) – University of Salerno. Since 2012 she is member of the Directorial Board (after being for a long time Editorial coordinator) of the legal journal “Le Corti salernitane”, ESI, Naples.
She is a member of the reviewers committee of the journal “Il diritto di famiglia e delle persone”, Giuffré, Milan. Honorary member of AMI (Associazione avvocati matrimonialisti italiani - Association of the Italian divorce lawyers). Scientific Responsible and member of Research teams dealing with various Civil Law issues. Author of monographs on issues related to asset controlling and reporting, leasing, distribution agreements, as well as numerous articles and comments to case-law published in specialized national and international legal journals and contributions to national and international books on Civil Law topics.
