Objectives
THE LAB WILL FOLLOW AN ACTIVE INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH BASED ON CASE STUDIES. THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE AN EFFECTIVE AND CLEAR PRESENTATION OF THE RESULTS WHICH WILL BE USED IN DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES IN THE FIELD OF SOCIOLOGY, ECONOMICS AND STATISTICS.

AN INTERMEDIATE KNOWLEDGE OF ECONOMICS, SOCIOLOGY AND STATISTICS.

STATISTICAL REPORTING. GENERAL GUIDELINES AND GENERAL STRUCTURE OF A STATISTICAL REPORT. EFFECTIVE DATA PRESENTATION. DYNAMICAL GRAPHIC PRESENTATIONS. DYNAMIC REPORTING AND REPRODUCIBLE RESEARCH. R AND MARKDOWN LANGUAGES.
Teaching Methods
LAB ACTIVITIES (80 HOURS) WILL BE BASED ON ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF THE STUDENTS WITH PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION OF CASE STUDIES
Verification of learning
THE STUDENTS WILL PRODUCE A STATITISTICAL REPORT THAT WILL BE PRESENTED AND DISCUSSED AT THE END OF THE COURSE.
