Objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING

THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES WILL BE AIMED AT ENHANCING THE STUDENTS' TRANSVERSAL COMPETENCIES - THE SO-SAID SOFT SKILLS - WHICH ARE CONSIDERED STRATEGIC TO DEAL WITH THE CURRENT WORK ENVIRONMENT, CHALLENGED BY COMPLEXITY ISSUES AND BY THE NEED FOR A CONTINUOUS CHANGE. IN PARTICULAR, THE ATTENTION WILL BE FOCUSED ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF LEADERSHIP-RELATED SKILLS, PROBLEM SOLVING, NEGOTIATION, RELATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS, TEAM WORK AND TIME MANAGEMENT

APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING

STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO PROPERLY MANAGE GROUP DYNAMICS WITHIN BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR ORGANIZATIONS. GOING MORE INTO DETAILS, HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, THE TOOLS OF HUMAN RESOURCES VALORIZATION AND EVALUATION AT BOTH THE INDIVIDUAL AND THE GROUP LEVELS, AND THE ISSUES RELATED TO WORL MOTIVATION WILL BE DEALT WITH FROM A CONCEPTUAL AND PRACTICAL PERSPECTIVE.

MAKING JUDGEMENTS

STUDENTS WILL BE AVLE TO JUDGE HOW TO MANAGE THE DIFFERENT TOOLS AND MODELS OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, EMPHASIZING THE ROLE OF LEADERSHIP TO ACHIEVE ORGANIZATIONAL SUCCESS. THE ABILITY OF STUDENTS TO EVALUATE AND VALORIZE THE INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTION TO THE ORGANIZATIONAL SUCCESS WILL BE FOCUSED DURING BOTH CONCEPTUAL AND PRACTICAL TRAINING SESSIONS.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

STUDENTS WILL ACQUIRE THE COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO EFFECTIVELY MANAGE HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, CONSIDERING BOTH GROUP DYNAMICS AND INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES.

LEARNING SKILLS

STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO CRITICALLY ANALYZE AND TO DELVE INTO THE ISSUES OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, BY EMPLOYING THE MOST FITTING INTERPRETATIVE KEYS TO EFFECTIVELY DEAL WITH THE LATTER.

NO PREREQUISITES. BASIC SKILLS IN ORGANIZATIONAL STUDIES ARE USEFUL TO HANDLE THE TOPICS DISCUSSED

Teaching Methods
CHALLENGING THE TRADITIONAL NORMATIVE APPROACH, WHICH FOCUS ON THE COMMUNICATION AND THE REPLICATION OF BEST PRACTICES, THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES WILL BE PERFORMED THROUGH EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING ACTIVIES, WHICH ARE CONSISTENT WITH A GROUNDED RESEARCH METHOD. ACTUALLY, THE STUDENTS' BEHAVIOURAL MODELS WILL BE ANALYSED AND QUESTIONED, PAVING THE WAY FOR PROCESSES OF INDIVIDUAL IMPROVEMENT AND ENHANCEMENT. A MIX OF EDUCATIONAL METHODS WILL BE EXPLOITED, INCLUDING: SIMULATIONS, ROLE PLAYING, PROJECT WORK, CASE STUDY E SELF-CASES. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, SPEECHES OF EMINENT LEADERS WHO ARE PROFICIENT IN THE TOPICS OF THIS COURSE WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
