Objectives
THE COURSE WILL EXAMINE THE STRUCTURE AND FUNCTION OF THE WRITTEN TEXT AS WELL AS THE SPECIFIC FEATURES OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF WRITINGS. STUDENTS WILL ALSO REFINE THEIR ANALYTICAL TEXTUAL SKILLS AND BE MADE AWARE OF METHODS OF DESCRIBING CONTEMPORARY GERMAN ACCORDING TO BASIC NOTIONS OF PRAGMATICS AND SOCIOLINGUISTICS. BY THE END OF THE COURSE STUDENTS WILL ATTAIN THE LEVEL OF COMPETENCE THAT CORRESPONDS TO LEVEL B2-C1 OF THE COMMON EUROPEAN LANGUAGE FRAMEWORK.
Prerequisites
STUDENTS MUST HAVE PASSED THE FOLLOWING EXAMS: GERMAN LITERATURE II AND GERMAN LANGUAGE AND LINGUISTICS II.
