Education and Academic Qualifications
1990: Degree (Laurea) in Economics and Business, 110/110 summa cum laude (Federico II University of Naples, thesis in "History of Economic Analysis").
1991: Appointed Subject Matter Expert (Cultore della materia) in Economic History and Banking History at the Faculty of Economics, Federico II University of Naples; participated in teaching and seminar activities coordinated by prof. Ennio De Simone.
1992–2003: Participation in teaching and research activities coordinated by prof. Anna dell'Orefice within the Department of Theory and History of Public Economy, Federico II University.
1998: Awarded a research fellowship by the Board of Directors of the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies to conduct research on economists of Southern Italy in the 18th and 19th centuries.
2003: Began collaboration with "Associazione Studi e Ricerche del Mezzogiorno (SRM)" (Association for Studies and Research on Southern Italy), a company of the San Paolo IMI-Banco di Napoli Group, to conduct research on the Economy and Productive Sectors of Southern Italy.
2003 (July): Winner of the public competition for Assistant Professor (Ricercatore) in Economic History at the Faculty of Economics of Salerno (took office on January 1, 2004).
2007 (September): Passed the evaluation for confirmation in the role of tenured Assistant Professor.
2010: Member of the Faculty Board of the PhD Program in Economics and Management of Public Administrations.
2013: Awarded the "Sele d'Oro Prize" – Special Mention, Economics Section.
2013: Attained the National Scientific Qualification (ASN 2012) as Associate Professor in competition sector 13C1.
