Teaching Methods | |
---|---|
THE TEACHING INCLUDES THEORETICAL LESSONS (4 CFU) AND EXERCISES IN THE CLASSROOM (2 CFU). THE THEORETICAL LESSONS LEAD TO A CRITICAL READING OF THE PROBLEMS AND METHODOLOGIES RELATED TO THE RECOVERY PROJECT OF THE BUILDING HERITAGE, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE HISTORICIZED ONE. CLASSROOM EXERCISES ARE ASSIGNED TO THE STUDENTS, DIVIDED BY WORK GROUPS, A THEME TO BE DEVELOPED, ALSO THROUGH INSPECTIONS, FOR THE PROJECT OF RECOVERY AND CONSERVATION OF A DEGRADED OR ABANDONED BUILDING ORGANISM. DURING THE GUIDED PROJECT EXPERIENCE, THE STUDENTS ORGANIZED IN THE DESIGN TEAM WILL DEAL WITH ISSUES RELATED TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE DEGRADATION OF AN ARTEFACT, THE RESTORATION OPERATIONS AND, WHEN NECESSARY, THE DETERMINATION OF THE USE DESTINATIONS COMPATIBLE WITH THE MORPHOLOGY, THE STRUCTURE AND THE CONDITIONS OF CONSERVATION OF THE EXISTING ONE. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. IN ORDER TO TAKE THE FINAL EXAM, THE STUDENT MUST HAVE ATTENDED AT LEAST 70% OF THE TEACHING HOURS. THE MODE OF VERIFICATION OF PRESENCE IS GENERALLY ELECTRONIC OR MADE BY THE TEACHER AT THE BEGINNING OF THE LESSONS. |
Verification of learning | |
---|---|
THE EXAM IS TO ASSESS THE STUDENT'S ABILITY TO LEARN THE BASIC CONTENTS OF THE COURSE. THE VOTE, EXPRESSED IN THIRTIETHS WITH POSSIBLE PRAISE, WILL DEPEND ON THE MATURITY ACQUIRED IN THE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPOSURE. IT WILL BE ASSESSED THROUGH AN ORAL INTERVIEW, AT THE END OF COURSE, AIMED AT ASCERTAINING THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ACHIEVED BY THE STUDENT ON THE TEACHING CONTENT, AS WELL AS VERIFYING THE ABILITY TO EXHIBIT, USING THE APPROPRIATE TERMINOLOGY AND THE ABILITY TO AUTONOMOUSLY ORGANIZE THE EXHIBITION. THE INTERVIEW CONSISTS OF TWO PARTS: A) AND B) PART A) PROPOSES THEORETICAL QUESTIONS ON ALL THE TOPICS OF THE COURSE AND ON THE RECOMMENDED BIBLIOGRAPHIC REFERENCES, AS WELL AS ON VISITS, INSPECTIONS AND ANY SEMINARS CARRIED OUT. PART B) PROPOSES THE DISCUSSION OF THE DRAWINGS OF THE EXERCISE OF THE YEAR, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL ANALYSIS AND DESIGN CHOICES. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE PRAISE WE WILL TAKE INTO ACCOUNT: - THE QUALITY OF THE EXHIBITION, IN TERMS OF USING APPROPRIATE SCIENTIFIC LANGUAGE - THE QUALITY OF THE DRAWINGS OF THE DESIGN EXERCISES - THE ABILITY OF CROSS-CORRELATION BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT TOPICS OF THE COURSE - OF THE AUTONOMY OF PROVEN JUDGMENT. |
