Roberto IORIO Curriculum
Roberto Iorio took his degree at the University of Trento (110/110 cum laude), his Master in Economics in Turin (CORIPE Piemonte) and his Ph.D at the University of Ferrara. Since 2005 he is lecturer (“Ricercatore”) at the University of Salerno. Teaching at the University of Salerno: since 2008-09 he is holding the chair of Economics of Unequalities (advanced degree course in Sociology); since 2009-10 he is holding the chair of Economics (on-line course) at the University of Salerno (degree course in Sociology); from 2004-05 to 2007-08 and in 2011-12 he held the chair of Economics at the University of Salerno (degree course in Sociology); in 2007-08 he held the chair of Theory of the firm (Faculty of Economics); In 2004-05 he held the chair of European Political Economy at the University of Ferrara (Faculty of Economics) He is responsible of two projects MIUR-ex 60% at the University of Salerno. He is member of the teaching staff of the Ph.D in Economics at the University of Ferrara (Ph.D associated with the University of Salerno). He collaborated with the GAL Irpinia on studies about traditional and artistic artisans; with the International Affairs Institute in Rome and with the Trentino Institute of Culture on studies about the internationalization of regional economies; with ASTER – Emilia Romagna for a study on the evaluation of policies for the creation of innovative firms, inside the PAXIS project of the EU Commission. Main research interests: -economics of science and innovation; -theoretical and empirical analysis of human capital -evaluation of public policies; -internationalization of regional economies; -regional unequalities; -aspects of methodology and history of thought.
