Teaching Methods | |
---|---|
THE COURSE CONSISTS OF 40 HOURS OF CLASS FACE-TO-FACE TEACHING. THE TEACHING CONSISTS OF LECTURES (34 HOURS) AND PRESENTATIONS OF RESEARCH CARRIED OUT BY STUDENTS (INDIVIDUALLY OR IN GROUPS OF 2 OR 3 PEOPLE) AND COMMENTED BY THE TEACHER AND THE CLASS (6 HOURS). THE FACE-TO-FACE LESSONS WILL ALLOW THE STUDENT TO ACQUIRE THE KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY TO ANALYSE THE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS INHERENT TO THE WORLD OF SPORTING ACTIVITY. INDIVIDUAL RESEARCH WILL ALLOW STUDENTS TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE TO THE ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC PHENOMENA RELATED TO SPORT, TO THE EVALUATION AND PROPOSAL OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE INTERVENTIONS IN THE SPORTS SECTOR. PARTICIPATION IN FRONTAL TEACHING, ALTHOUGH NOT MANDATORY, IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. |
Verification of learning | |
---|---|
VERIFICATION OF LEARNING IS CARRIED OUT THROUGH A WRITTEN TEST (MANDATORY),THE PRESENTATION OF ONE'S OWN INDIVIDUAL RESEARCH OR CARRIED OUT IN SMALL GROUPS IN WHICH THE INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTION IS CLEARLY RECOGNIZABLE (OPTIONAL) AND AN INTEGRATIVE ORAL EXAM (OPTIONAL). IN THE WRITTEN TEST STUDENTS WILL HAVE TO EXPLAIN THEIR KNOWLEDGE ON SPECIFIC TOPICS RELATING TO THE COURSE PROGRAM, BY ANSWERING 4 "OPEN" QUESTIONS TO BE CHOSEN FROM A LARGER NUMBER (8-10). A MAXIMUM SCORE OF 2 OUT OF 30 CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO THE EVALUATION OF THE PRESENTATION CARRIED OUT BY THE STUDENTS ON THEIR OWN RESEARCH. STUDENTS WHO HAVE OBTAINED, IN THE EVALUATION OF THE WRITTEN TEST, ADDED TO THE SCORE OBTAINED WITH THE PRESENTATION OF THEIR RESEARCH (IF CARRIED OUT), A MINIMUM SCORE OF 28 OUT OF THIRTY, CAN ASK TO CARRY OUT AN ADDITIONAL ORAL EXAM, TO DEEPEN THE EVALUATION OF KNOWLEDGE. OF THE TOPICS COVERED IN THE COURSE AND THE ABILITY TO APPLY THEM TO THE INTERPRETATION OF REAL PHENOMENA. THE SCORE OBTAINED IN THIS OPTIONAL ORAL TEST IS ADDED TO THAT OBTAINED FROM THE WRITTEN TEST (AND POSSIBLY FROM THE PRESENTATION). STUDENTS WHO, HAVING OBTAINED A GRADE LOWER THAN 28 IN THE WRITTEN TEST (BY ADDING THE GRADE OF THE PRESENTATION, IF MADE), WISH TO IMPROVE THEIR GRADE, CAN TAKE THE TEST AGAIN IN SUBSEQUENT SESSIONS WITH THE "GUARANTEE" OF OBTAINING A FINAL GRADE NO LOWER THAN THAT PREVIOUSLY OBTAINED. THE EVALUATION OF THE TESTS NATURALLY DEPENDS ON THE KNOWLEDGE POSSESSED, BOTH IN EXTENSIVE TERMS (KNOWLEDGE OF THE VARIOUS POINTS OF THE PROGRAM) AND IN THE DEGREE OF DEPTH, METHODOLOGICAL AWARENESS AND (PARTICULARLY IN RELATION TO THE PRESENTATION OF ONE'S OWN RESEARCH) ABILITY TO USE THE KNOWLEDGE ITSELF FOR THE INTERPRETATION OF REAL PHENOMENA. THE MAXIMUM MARK (30 CUM LAUDE) IS ACHIEVABLE BY THOSE WHO POSSESS THE ABOVE-REQUIRED QUALITIES TO A HIGH DEGREE. HOWEVER, TO ACHIEVE 30 CUM LAUDE, IT IS NECESSARY TO HAVE TAKEN AT LEAST ONE OF THE TWO OPTIONAL TESTS (PRESENTATION OF A RESEARCH PAPER AND/OR OPTIONAL ORAL EXAM). |
