Objectives
TO GIVE TO THE STUDENTS THE BASIC KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE INTEGRATION OF MECHANICAL, ELECTRONIC AND ACQUIRING/PROCESSING DEVICES. SOFTWARE TOOLS AND LABORATORY TEST RIGS ARE ALSO USED FOR SIMULATING SIMPLE DYNAMIC SYSTEMS.
Prerequisites
BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF DYNAMICS OF MACHINE SYSTEMS AND FUNDAMENTALS OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING.

DYNAMIC SYSTEMS CLASSIFICATIONS. EXAMPLES, SOLUTION METHODS. TRANSDUCERS FOR MECHANICAL DEVICES
MONITORING. MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND INTEGRATION WITH THE CONTROLLER. MOTION CONTROL: ACTUATORS
AND POWER TRANSMISSION; HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS AND CONTROL. SIMULATIONS.

WRITTEN TEST WITH SIMULATION EXERCISE; ORAL EXAMINATION.
THE ASSESSMENT OF THE SIMULATION EXERCISE ASSIGNS POSITIVE MARK TO: THE ORIGINALITY OF THE PROPOSED SOLUTION, THE RIGHT PRE-SIMULATION WRITING OF THE MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR THE DYNAMIC SYSTEM AND ITS CONTROLLER, THE LIMITED COMPLEXITY OF THE ALGORITHM, THE NUMERICAL EFFECTIVENESS, THE VERSATILITY OF THE CONTROL SOLUTION DESIGNED BY THE CANDIDATE.
