She has taught from the academic year 2005- 6 to the academic year 2007- 2008 Sociology of Deviancy at the Degree Course in Social Science in the University Cà Foscari –Venice.

Ph. D. in Ethics and Philosophy of politics and law University of Salerno
Post-graduate Course of Innovation Policy, organized by CIES (Center for Economic and Social Engineering) at the University of Calabria.

Post-graduate course: Survey during epidemics. Surveys and other studies: transforming scientific results into actions, organized by the High Institute for Health – Roma (Rome)


Main Fields of research: Symbolic Interactionism, Social Theory, Sociology of health and medicine; obesity and body relations; new biomedical possibilities; and new ethical aspects of human action in the age of digital technology. Research on social and health integration, gender, deviance, active ageing, well-being, quality of life and life course, new forms of family organisation and disorganisation.
