LEARNING OBJECTIVES EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS AND COMPETENCE TO BE ACQUIRE: TO LEARN METHODS AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE FOR THE UNDERSTANDING AND ANALYSIS OF A CONSTRUCTIVE, FUNCTIONAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL CONSTRUCTION ORGANIZATION, AIMED AT THE ABILITY TO REPRODUCE AND RE-ELABORATE THESE METHODS AND KNOWLEDGE IN THE DESIGN OF A BUILDING. ACQUIRE THE ABILITY TO EXPRESS IN GRAPHIC TERMS, THE ELEMENTS THAT CHARACTERIZE THE BUILDING ORGANISM, BOTH WITH REFERENCE TO THE SIZE OF THE EXISTING CONSTRUCTION AND THE DESIGN FIELD. KNOWLEDGE AND COMPLIANCE CAPACITIES: UNDERSTAND THE TERMINOLOGY USED IN THE CONCEPTUAL, LOGICAL AND PHYSICAL MODELS OF BUILDING A BUILDING ORGANIZATION, THE BASIC CONCEPTS OF ARCHITECTURAL GRAPHIC LANGUAGE, AND PROJECT METHODOLOGIES. CAPACITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND COMPRESSION: KNOW HOW TO DESIGN GRAPHICAL MODELS AND RELATIONSHIPS FOR THE ANALYSIS, READING AND STUDY OF BUILDING TECHNOLOGY THROUGH THE COGNITIVE AND TRANSFORMATIONAL PROCESSES OF BUILDING AS WELL AS ISSUES RELATED TO BUILDING DESIGN. AUTONOMY OF JUDICIARY: KNOW HOW TO FIND THE MOST APPROPRIATE METHODS TO MAKE GRAPHICAL, CONSTRUCTIVE ELEMENTS AT THE VARIOUS SCALES OF REPRESENTATION, OPTIMIZING THE PROCESS IN RELATION TO THE ASSIGNED THEME. COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS: KNOW HOW TO WORK IN A GROUP AND EXPOSE A TOPIC RELATED TO THE TOPICS DISCUSSED DURING THE COURSE ORALLY AND GRAPHICALLY. CAPACITY TO APPLY: KNOW HOW TO APPLY THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND KNOW HOW TO LEARN THE NEW EVOLUTIONS IN THE BUILDING FIELD. |

Teaching Methods | |
---|---|
TEACHING METHODS THE COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO LECTURES AND CLASSROOM EXERCISES. THE LECTURES LEAD TO AN ANALYSIS, READING AND STUDY OF CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY THROUGH THE COGNITIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE PROCESSES OF BUILDING AND AN APPROACH TO THE PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH BUILDING DESIGN. IN THE CLASSROOM EXERCISES, THE STUDENTS ARE ASSIGNED, DIVIDED INTO WORKING GROUPS, THEMES TO BE DEVELOPED THROUGHOUT THE COURSE. THE THEMES INCLUDE THE DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL REPORTS AND GRAPHIC PANELS, AND THE DRAFTING OF A BUILDING PROJECT IN A GIVEN CONTEXT. |
Verification of learning | |
---|---|
ASSESSMENT METHODS THE ASSESSMENT OF THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE LEARNING OBJECTIVES IS VIA AN ORAL EXAM THAT ALSO REQUIRES THE VERIFICATION OF THE RESULTS OBTAINED DURING THE EXERCISES (DESIGN AND GRAPHICS, REPORTS, ETC.) |
