EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES AND COMPETENCE TO BE ACQUIRED:
KNOWLEDGE OF METHODS AND TECHNIQUES FOR THE UNDERSTANDING AND ANALYSIS OF A BUILDING ORGANISM FROM A CONSTRUCTIVE, FUNCTIONAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL POINT OF VIEW, AIMED AT THE ABILITY TO REPROPOSE AND REWORK THESE METHODS AND KNOWLEDGE IN THE DESIGN OF A BUILDING.
ACQUISITION OF THE ABILITY TO EXPRESS IN GRAPHIC TERMS, THE ELEMENTS CHARACTERIZING THE BUILDING ORGANISM, BOTH WITH REFERENCE TO THE SIZE OF THE EXISTING BUILDING AND IN THE DESIGN FIELD.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND:
UNDERSTANDING THE TERMINOLOGY USED IN THE CONCEPTUAL, LOGICAL AND PHYSICAL MODELS OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF A BUILDING ORGANISM, THE FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS OF THE ARCHITECTURAL GRAPHIC LANGUAGE, THE DESIGN METHODOLOGIES.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
KNOW HOW TO ELABORATE GRAPHIC MODELS AND REPORTS FOR THE ANALYSIS, READING AND STUDY OF BUILDING TECHNOLOGY THROUGH THE COGNITIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE PROCESSES OF CONSTRUCTION, AS WELL AS THE PROBLEMS RELATED TO BUILDING DESIGN.
AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT:
KNOW HOW TO IDENTIFY THE MOST APPROPRIATE METHODS TO RENDER IN GRAPHIC FORM, CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS AT VARIOUS SCALES OF REPRESENTATION, OPTIMIZING THE PROCESS IN RELATION TO THE ASSIGNED THEME.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
KNOW HOW TO WORK IN A GROUP AND EXPOSE ORALLY AND GRAPHICALLY A TOPIC RELATED TO THE TOPICS DEALT WITH DURING THE TEACHING.

Teaching Methods
THEORETICAL LESSONS AND EXERCISES IN THE CLASSROOM.
THE ARGUMENTS ARE INTRODUCED IN THE THEORETICAL LESSONS INTRODUCING THE CONSOQUENT AND TRANSFORMING PROCESSES OF BUILDING. IN THE EXERCISES THE STUDENTS ARE ASSIGNED TO ELABORATE A PROJECT BY USING THE TECHNIQUES ILLUSTRATED IN THE THEORETICAL LESSONS. THE PERFORMANCE OF EXERCISES IS GUIDED BY THE TEACHER AND TAKES TO DEVELOP AND STRENGTHEN THE ABILITY OF THE STUDENT IN KNOWLEDGE BUILDING A BUILDING PROJECT IN A ASSIGNED CONTEXT. ATTENDANCE TO THE COURSE IS COMPULSORY AS PROVIDED BY THE APPLICABLE REGULATIONS.
Verification of learning
ASSESSMENT OF THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE SET OBJECTIVES TAKES PLACE BY MEANS OF A FINAL ORAL EXAMINATION, WHICH ALSO INVOLVES CHECKING THE RESULTS OBTAINED IN CARRYING OUT THE EXERCISES (PROJECT AND GRAPHIC DESIGN, REPORTS, ETC.). THE ASSESSMENT IS SINGLE AND IS EXPRESSED IN THIRTIETHS.
