VERTICAL CLOSURE ELEMENTS: STAIRS (15 HOURS OF LESSONS; 10 HOURS OF CLASSROOM EXERCISES; 8 HOURS OF WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES).
Teaching Methods
THE COURSE INCLUDES THEORETICAL LESSONS (6 CFU), CLASSROOM EXERCISES (4 CFU), AND WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES (2 CFU). DURING THE CLASSROOM EXERCISES, THE STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO ELABORATE GRAPHICS AND INFOGRAPHICS, RELATED TO THE TOPICS ILLUSTRATED DURING THE THEORETICAL LESSONS. THROUGH THE WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES, THEY SHOULD ACQUIRE KNOWLEDGE OF INFOGRAPHIC REPRESENTATION SYSTEMS (MOST COMMON SOFTWARE FOR INFOGRAPHIC DRAWING AND MODELING).
IN THE FINAL PHASE OF THE COURSE, AN INTEGRATED WORKSHOP ACTIVITY WILL BE PROPOSED THAT WILL REVIEW ALL THE CONTENTS COVERED AND WILL AIM TO DEVELOP GRAPHIC SKILLS AND CRITICAL CAPACITY IN THE CHOICE OF THE MOST APPROPRIATE METHODOLOGIES AND SYSTEMS FOR THE EFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION OF ARCHITECTURAL SPACE.
ATTENDANCE TO THE COURSE IS COMPULSORY: THE MINIMUM ATTENDANCE PERCENTAGE REQUIRED TO TAKE THE EXAM IS 70% (ACCORDING TO EDUCATIONAL REGULATIONS). THE REQUIRED ATTENDANCE PERCENTAGE WILL BE VERIFIED BY THE PARTICIPATION DURING THE WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES.
Verification of learning
COURSE OF 12 CFU WITH A FINAL EXAM AT THE END OF THE SECOND SEMESTER.
THE EXAM, WHICH IS ORAL, INCLUDES AN IN-DEPTH STUDY AND DISCUSSION OF THE WORK PRODUCED DURING THE COURSE AND A COLLOQUIUM ON THE TOPICS OF THE THEORETICAL CLASSES. THE STUDENT MUST DEMONSTRATE AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE ADVANCED ELEMENTS OF TECHNICAL GRAPHIC LANGUAGE, MASTERY OF COMPUTER GRAPHICS REPRESENTATION METHODS AND THE ABILITY TO GRAPHICALLY COMMUNICATE ARCHITECTURE, ACCORDING TO CONVENTIONAL CODIFIED STANDARDS, BY MEANS OF PROJECT AND/OR SURVEY DRAWINGS. THE LEVEL OF EVALUATION WILL TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE METHODS APPLIED, AS WELL AS THE ABILITY TO SHOW THE RESULTS GRAPHICALLY, INCLUDING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PERSONAL GRAPHIC STYLE. AUTONOMY IS ALSO REQUIRED TO IDENTIFY THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAYS AND METHODS FOR THE COMPLETE UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRACTICAL CASES BY OPTIMIZING THE REPRESENTATION PROCESS ACCORDING TO THE CONTEXT.
THE TEST TENDS TO DEMONSTRATE SKILLS RELATED TO THE AUTONOMOUS HANDLING AND INTEGRATION OF ANALOG AND DIGITAL REPRESENTATION SYSTEMS FOR THE DESCRIPTION OF ARCHITECTURE (30 CUM LAUDE), THE CONSCIOUS RESOLUTION OF ARCHITECTURAL REPRESENTATION PROBLEMS (30), AND THE ABILITY TO PERFORM THE ASSIGNED PRACTICAL EXERCISES (18).
