KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING SKILLS: THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES WILL BE AIMED AT ENHANCING THE STUDENTS' TRANSVERSAL COMPETENCIES - THE SO-SAID SOFT SKILLS - WHICH ARE CONSIDERED STRATEGIC TO DEAL WITH THE CURRENT WORK ENVIRONMENT, CHALLENGED BY COMPLEXITY ISSUES AND BY THE NEED FOR A CONTINUOUS CHANGE. IN PARTICULAR, THE ATTENTION WILL BE FOCUSED ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF LEADERSHIP-RELATED SKILLS, PROBLEM SOLVING, NEGOTIATION, RELATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS, TEAM WORK AND TIME MANAGEMENT. APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: BY VIRTUE OF THE SIMULATIONS AND THE WORK GROUPS REALIZED, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO DEVELOP THE SKILLS AND THE COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PROPERLY MANAGE THE INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT. (LEADERSHIP, NEGOTIATION, TEAM MANAGEMENT, TIME MANAGEMENT, ETC.). MAKING JUDGEMENTS: THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO ACHIEVE AUTONOMY IN APPLYING THE MAIN SKILLS RELATED TO THE MANAGEMENT OF INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO EFFECTIVELY SHOW AND COMMUNICATE THE METHODS OF RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT WITHIN FOR-PROFIT AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. LEARNING SKILLS: THE STUDENTS WILL DEVELOP THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE APPROACHES RELATED TO THE HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND TO THE ENHANCEMENT OF INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS. |

THE TRAINING ACTIVITIES ARE INTEDED AT TRANSLATING THE THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPED BY THE STUDENTS DURING EITHER THEIR ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE OR DURING THE INTRODUCTORY STAGE OF THE COURSE IN PRACTICAL SKILLS, WHICH WILL HELP THEM IN UNDERSTANDING HOW TO BEHAVE AND HOW TO WORK IN ORGANIZATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS. AS A RESULT OF THEIR ATTENDANCE AT THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO RECOGNIZE THE COMPETENCIES AND THE EXPERTISE THE ORGANIZATIONS WHICH OPERATE IN THE CURRENT ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CONTEXT REQUIRE. ATTENTION WILL BE PAID TO THE NEEDS OF BOTH FOR-PROFIT AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING THE FIVE CATEGORIES OF COGNITIVE SKILLS, RELATIONAL ABILITIES, ACHIEVEMENT CAPABILITIES, MANAGERIAL EXPERTISE, AND TRANSVERSAL COMPETENCIES. BESIDES, THE STUDENTS WILL GRASP THE TECHNIQUES AND THE METODOLOGIES WHICH ARE NEEDED TO IMPROVE THEIR LEADERSHIP ABILITY. AT THE SAME TIME, THEY WILL BE ASSISTED IN ENHANCING THEIR SOFT SKILLS. |

CHALLENGING THE TRADITIONAL NORMATIVE APPROACH, WHICH FOCUS ON THE COMMUNICATION AND THE REPLICATION OF BEST PRACTICES, THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES WILL BE PERFORMED THROUGH EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING ACTIVIES, WHICH ARE CONSISTENT WITH A GROUNDED RESEARCH METHOD. ACTUALLY, THE STUDENTS' BEHAVIOURAL MODELS WILL BE ANALYSED AND QUESTIONED, PAVING THE WAY FOR PROCESSES OF INDIVIDUAL IMPROVEMENT AND ENHANCEMENT. A MIX OF EDUCATIONAL METHODS WILL BE EXPLOITED, INCLUDING: SIMULATIONS, ROLE PLAYING, PROJECT WORK, CASE STUDY E SELF-CASES. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, SPEECHES OF EMINENT LEADERS WHO ARE PROFICIENT IN THE TOPICS OF THIS COURSE WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. |
