Francesco CARRABS Curriculum
Carrabs Francesco was born on 16 December 1976 in Atripalda (AV). He received the Laurea degree cum laude in Computer Science in 2002 with a thesis titled “Shortest Path Tree problem: new data structures and caliber heuristic”, tutor: prof. Raffaele Cerulli from the University of Salerno and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 2006 with a thesis titled “Heuristics and exact approaches for transportation problems with pickup and delivery” tutor: prof. Raffaele Cerulli from the same university. From October 2004 to May 2005, from October 2005 to December 2005 he was a Visiting student at the Centre for Research on Transportation (C.R.T) University of Montréal (Canada), tutor: Prof G. Laporte and Jean-François Cordeau. From October 2006 to March 2007 he was a post-doc researcher at the HEC, Montreal, Canada, tutor: prof. J-F. Cordeau. From 2007 to 2008 he was a research fellow at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (D.M.I.), University of Salerno, tutor. Raffaele Cerulli. From December 2008 to September 2020 he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Salerno. Since October 2020 he is an Associate Professor in Operations Research at the Department of Mathematics.
