Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE BASIC CONCEPTS ON CONVENTIONAL TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES USED FOR THE PRODUCTION OF METALLIC AND NON-METALLIC PRODUCTS, AS WELL AS THE GUIDELINES FOR PERMANENT JUNCTION PROCESSES AND THE PROGRAMMING OF NUMERICAL CONTROL MACHINES.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
KNOWLEDGE OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES USED IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIES FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF PRODUCTS FOR CHIP REMOVAL, PLASTIC DEFORMATION AND PERMANENT JUNCTION PROCESSES.

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
KNOW HOW TO CHOOSE TECHNOLOGY AND TO EVALUATE THE FEASIBILITY OF MACHINING BY APPLYING THE APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS

EVALUATION OF THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE SET GOALS WILL BE ACHIEVED THROUGH A WRITTEN TEST COMPRISING FOUR EXERCISES ON THE VARIOUS SUBJECTS DISCUSSED IN THE COURSE AND AN ORAL INTERVIEW WHERE THE DEGREE OF ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND THE ABILITY TO EXHIBIT THE TOPICS DISCUSSED WILL BE ASSESSED.
