THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE FUNDAMENTALS OF ADVANCED MATERIALS AND RELATED MANUFACTURING UNCONVENTIONAL PROCESSES, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO COMPOSITE MATERIALS TECHNOLOGIES KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: KNOWLEDGE OF UNCONVENTIONAL MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES USED IN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIES. UNDERSTANDING THE BEHAVIOR OF ANISOTROPIC MATERIALS KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE MAIN QUALITY CONTROL METHODS ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: KNOW HOW TO CHOOSE TECHNOLOGY AND HOW TO EVALUATE THE FEASIBILITY OF MACHINING BY APPLYING THE APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS. KNOW HOW TO CHOOSE THE APPROPRIATE REINFORCEMENT ARCHITECTURE AND TO APPLY NON-DESTRUCTIVE CONTROLS TO CERTIFY THE QUALITY OF THE ARTIFACTS AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT: KNOW HOW TO ASSESS THE STRUCTURAL LIMITS OF UNCONVENTIONAL MATERIALS AND THE PECULIARITIES OF THE EQUIPMENT USED AND KNOW HOW TO JUDGE THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTS COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS: KNOW HOW TO COLLABORATE IN A GROUP BY SUGGESTING POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS TO TECHNOLOGICAL ISSUES BASED ON ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE LEARNING ABILITY: BE ABLE TO APPLY AND UPDATE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE IN CONTEXTS DIFFERENT FROM THOSE PRESENTED DURING THE COURSE, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES. |
