Dec 1994 Master Degree in Chemistry, with 110/110 cum laude, at University of Naples “Federico II” discussing an experimental thesis: "Biosynthesis of tryptophan in Sulfolobus solfataricus: cloning and expression in Escherichia coli of anthranilate synthase", tutor Prof. G. Sannia.
1995 Passed exam to become a Professional Chemist.
1995 Collaboration with Dott. B. Maresca, International Institute of Genetic and Biophysic Research National Council in Naples, with a fellowship from Bayer R&D, in a research project on the characterisation of Δ9-desaturase promoter gene from pathogenic organism Histoplasma capsulatum.
Nov 1995-Ott 1999 PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, carrying out research activity in the Department of Organic and Biological Chemistry in the University of Naples “Federico II”, tutor Prof. G. Marino. She obtains the PhD degree with the thesis: “Folding assisting factors in cold adapted organisms”
2000- 2003 Post-doctoral position on European project FeMMES "Evaluation of the safety and efficacy of iron supplementation in pregnant women” n.: QLK1-CT-1999-00337, in the laboratory of Prof. A. Leone, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Salerno.
2004 - 2006 Post-doctoral position on the project “Apoptosis regulation: role of BAG3 protein and its molecular partners“, in the laboratory of Prof. A. Leone, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Salerno.
