Walter ZAMBONI Curriculum
Walter Zamboni was born in Napoli, Italy, in 1977. He received the Laurea (summa cum laude) and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2001 and 2004, respectively, from the Università degli Studi di Napoli ”Federico II”, Italy. In 2003 he has been Stager at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland, and Visiting Scientist at EPFL-CRPP Superconductivity Group, Villigen-PSI, Switzerland. From 2005 to 2008, he has been Research Fellow at the Università degli Studi di Cassino, Italy.
From 2016 he is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Università degli Studi di Salerno, Italy, where he has been assistant professor from 2008 to 2016. Since 2006, he has been teaching Circuit Theory at the Università degli Studi del Sannio, Italy, and Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering at Università degli Studi di Salerno, Italy. His scientific interests (at present) are in the field of energy storage (in particular, battery modelling, SoC-SoH estimation in batteries, BMS, energy and power management in systems with energy storage). He has been also working on power converters modelling and computational electromagnetics (with particular reference to nanotechnologies and superconductivity).
