GRAZIA D'ARIENZO Curriculum

Dr. Grazia D'Arienzo is a Research Fellow in Performing Arts at the University of Salerno. She obtained her National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in the sector 10/C1-Theatre, Music, Cinema, Television and Audiovisual Media. She holds a degree in Performing Arts and Multimedia Production and a PhD in Methods and Methodologies of Archaeological and Historical-Artistic Research. In 2016 she was a Visiting Researcher at the Universidad de Zaragoza and in 2019 she was selected to present her research at the University of Reading. In 2020, she won a research grant at the Department of Cultural Heritage of the University of Salerno as part of the VASARI Project-Smart Valorization of the Artistic Heritage of Italian Cities. Her essay "Rimediazioni. L' eredità beckettiana nel teatro digitale (1995-2009)" was a finalist in the Opera Critica 2021 Award.

She is a member of the Consulta Universitaria del Teatro, the International Federation for Theatre Research and the European Association for the Study of Theatre and Performance. A member of the editorial board of «Rifrazioni/Sinestesieonline», she has published essays in national and international journals. Her research intererests focuse on the staging of Samuel Beckett's works, on the tangencies between stage device and technology, and on 19th-century Neapolitan theatre.
