Roberta DI PACE Curriculum
Roberta Di Pace achieved in January 2009 her PhD title in “Hydraulics, Land-use and Transportation Systems” at the Transportation Engineering Department "L. Tocchetti", at the University of Naples "Federico II". In December 2010, she became a research fellow at the Department of Civil Engineering, at the University of Salerno. There she is being mentored by Professor. G.E. Cantarella with the research fellowship topic of "Stochastic network assignment: models and algorithms." From February 2014 untill January 2015 she was research fellow on the topic of " Models for freight transport analysis" and she is being mentored by Professor. S. de Luca. Since February 2015 she is Researcher (Ricercatori Legge 240/10 - t.det.) at the Depart.of Civil Engineering.
At Salerno she contributes teaching in the courses of “Transportation System Theory ”, “Transportation Planning” and “Transportation Techniques and Economics ” furthermore, since February 2015 she is Aggregate Professor of “Transportation System Design”, since September 2015 she is Aggregate Professor of “Transport Economics".
Besides she collaborates also supervising the realization of Bachelor and MoSc theses, in the transport sector. She has participated in several PRIN projects (research projects of national interest). She is coauthor in around 50 publications in scientific journals, books and national and international conference proceedings. She is also collaborating to professional consulting activities conducted by the Department of Civil Engineering, at the University of Salerno. She has also participated in various inter-university research projects. Her research collaborations with other universities have involved until now, at Italian level, the University of Naples "Federico II", the Polytechnic of Bari and the University of Genoa While at international level her collaborations have involved the Technical University of Delft, (The Netherlands), the Technion University of Haifa, (Israel), the University of the West of England, (United Kingdom) and the University of Luxembourg (Luxembourg) the CEPS/Instead (Luxembourg).
