THE COURSE CONSISTS OF TWO MODULES: THE FIRST 30-HOUR-MODULE IS COMMON TO ALL CURRICULA WHEREAS THE SECOND 15-HOUR MODULE IS SPECIFIC TO THE STUDENTS’ SINGLE CURRICULUM. THE MAIN AIM IS TO: -DEEPEN THE STUDY OF THE COMPLEX STRUCTURES OF FRENCH; -IMPROVE THE METHODOLOGICAL AND LINGUISTIC SKILLS TO FACILITATE FRENCH LANGUAGE TEACHING/LEARNING -DEEPEN THE METHODOLOGICAL COMPETENCES AS FAR AS THE MACRO AND MICRO LINGUISTIC ASPECTS OF SPECIALISED LANGUAGES ARE CONCERNED. THE LITERATURE AND LITERARY TRANSLATION CURRICULUM AIMS TO DEEPEN THE CRITICAL REFLECTION ON THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ISSUES CONCERNING DIFFERENT TYPES OF LITERARY TRANSLATION AND CRITICAL TEXTS. THE LINGUISTICS AND DIDACTICS OF LANGUAGES CURRICULUM AIMS TO IMPROVE METHODOLOGICAL AND LINGUISTIC SKILLS WHILE FACILITATING THE TEACHING/LEARNING OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE ALSO IN RELATION TO ISSUES OF DEFINITION IN INTERLINGUAL AND INTRALINGUAL TRANSLATION PROCESSES. THE LANGUAGES FOR THE RESOURCES AND THE ECONOMIES OF THE TERRITORY CURRICULUM AIMS AT THE DEEPENING OF THE SPECIAL LANGUAGES IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE PRACTICAL-UTILITARIAN OBJECTIVES THAT ARE ALSO SUITABLE FOR THE TRANSLATION REQUIREMENTS OF THE TERRITORY AND OF NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETS. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING STUDENTS WILL: - STRENGTHEN THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF FRENCH REACHING A FULL C1 LEVEL OF THE COMMON EUROPEAN LANGUAGE FRAMEWORK; - LEARN HOW TO METALINGUISTICALLY REFLECT ON THE LINGUISTIC CHARACTERISTICS AND TRANSLATION STRATEGIES; - ENHANCE THE TECHNIQUES USED FOR THE TRANSLATION OF COMPLEX WRITTEN AND ORAL TEXTS; - DEEPEN THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN METHODS AND TECHNIQUES RELATING TO AUTHORIAL TRANSLATION AND THE PUBLISHING WORLD (LITERATURE AND LITERARY TRANSLATION CURRICULUM) - ACQUIRE IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF LINGUISTIC AND SOCIO-CULTURAL ASPECTS USEFUL FOR APPROPRIATE LINGUISTIC MEDIATION (LANGUAGES FOR THE RESOURCES AND THE ECONOMIES OF THE TERRITORY CURRICULUM) - DEEPEN METHODOLOGIES FOR TEACHING/LEARNING THE FRENCH LANGUAGE (LINGUISTICS AND DIDACTICS OF LANGUAGES CURRICULUM) APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO: -MASTER THE LANGUAGE IN ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL CONTEXTS; -CARRY OUT A CONTRASTIVE ANALYSIS AND COMPARISON OF THE NON-SYSTEMATIC CHARACTERS OF THE LINGUISTIC CODE AND THEIR MORPHOLOGICAL REFORMULATION; -DEVELOP ARGUMENTATIVE SKILLS IN RELATION TO DOCIMOLOGIC, LINGUISTIC AND TRANSLATIONAL ASPECTS; -PROVIDE LINGUISTIC INTERPRETATION OF LITERARY TEXTS AND ESSAYS; -DEEPEN THE STUDY OF COMPLEX LINGUISTIC PHENOMENA ALSO USING THE TOOLS PROVIDED BY NEW COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES AND MAKE COLLABORATIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCE; -APPLY USEFUL KNOWLEDGE AND TERMINOLOGY TO THE LANGUAGE OF DISSEMINATION WHICH WILL ENABLE THE APPROPRIATE TRANSITION FROM TRAINING TO WORK. MAKING JUDGEMENTS STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO: - AUTONOMOUSLY EVALUATE THE LINGUISTIC PROCESSES AND HOMOLOGICAL TRANSPOSITION OF LANGUAGES IN COMPARISON. - MAKE AUTONOMOUS JUDGEMENTS AND EXPRESS POINTS OF VIEW ON ISSUES RELATED TO SPECIALIST TRANSLATION AND THEIR THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL STUDY, DIVERSIFIED AND APPLIED IN SPECIFIC PROFESSIONAL CONTEXTS; - PRODUCE AUTONOMY AND A STRONG CAPACITY FOR CRITICAL ANALYSIS ON COMPLEX TOPICS OF FRENCH LANGUAGE, RESEARCH AND DOCUMENTATION; - PRODUCE AUTONOMY IN IDENTIFYING AND EVALUATING PROBLEMS RELATED TO MICRO-LANGUAGES AND THEIR TRANSLATION PROBLEMS ALSO IN RELATION TO THE NEEDS OF THE TERRITORY. COMMUNICATION SKILLS STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO: - COMMUNICATE FLEXIBLY AND EFFECTIVELY IN ACADEMIC, SOCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL FIELDS - COMMUNICATE AND MANAGE LINGUISTIC, CULTURAL AND ECONOMIC EXCHANGES WITH COMPETENCE, FLEXIBILITY, ORIGINALITY AND CRITICAL SENSE NOT ONLY IN THE TERRITORIAL BUT ALSO NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SCALE. - COMMUNICATE AT AN ADVANCED LEVEL |
