In these few lines, I wish to offer a brief overview of my professional journey. After earning a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Salerno in July 2018, I continued my studies to achieve a PhD in June 2022. My thesis, titled "Machine Learning Techniques and Models for Situation Awareness of IoT-based Complex Systems," was defended at the same University's Doctoral School of Industrial Engineering of the Department of Industrial Engineering. Since July 2023, I have been a Fixed-Term Researcher (RTD-A) at the Department of Cultural Heritage Sciences (DiSPaC) of the University of Salerno in the scientific-disciplinary sector INF/01.

My research focuses on the following themes:

  • Context and Situation Awareness
  • Internet of Things (IoT) and its applications in real-world scenarios
  • Enhancement and monitoring of Cultural Heritage through the use of innovative technologies
  • Information security and Cybersecurity in IoT contexts

I am the author of several scientific articles published in journals and proceedings of international conferences that include methodological and application developments in the above-mentioned thematic areas. My research, which also unfolds through participation in national and international research projects, is carried out within the KnowMan research group (knowman.unisa.it), coordinated by Profs. Francesco Colace and Massimo De Santo. I actively participate in the activities of the ICT Center for Cultural Heritage of the University of Salerno, directed by prof. Francesco Colace.
