LEARNING OBJECTIVES THIS STUDY-.UNIT AIMS AT PROVIDING SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES TO CREATE EDUCATIONAL CONTEXTS FOR INFANTS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 0 AND 3 YEARS. IT IS COMPOSED OF TWO MODULES: - MODULE 1 "METODI E TECNICHE DEL GIOCO E DELL'ANIMAZIONE" AIMED AT PROVIDING ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE ON CURRENT THEORIES AND ON THE ROLE OF PLAY IN INFANCY AND COMPETENCIES TO PLAN AND IMPLEMENT EDUCATIONAL PLAY ACTIVITIES. - MODULE 2 "PROGETTAZIONE INCLUSIVA DEI SERVIZI PER LA PRIMA INFANZIA" PROVIDES FURTHER KNOWLEDGE ON INCLUSIVE PEDAGOGY AND PROMOTES THE ACQUISITION OF THE ARRAY OF COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO CREATE INCLUSIVE EDUCATIONAL CONTEXTS. MORE SPECIFICALLY, THE MODULE "METODI E TECNICHE DEL GIOCO E DELL'ANIMAZIONE" AIMS TO PROIVE THEORIES AND TECHNIQUES ABOUT THE ROLE OF PLAY IN EDUCATION. THE LEARNING OBJECTIVES FOR THE MODULE "PROGETTAZIONE INCLUSIVA DEI SERVIZI PER LA PRIMA INFANZIA" ARE: KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: BY THE END OF THE MODULE THE STUDENTS WILL HAVE ACQUIRED THE FUNDAMENTAL KNOWLEDGE RELATED TO INCLUSIVE COURSE PROGRAMMING AND PLANNING FOR EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TARGETING PRE-SCHOOL YEARS. APPLIED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: BY THE END OF THE MODULE THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO DESIGN AN INCLUSIVE COURSE PROGRAMME, BASED ON THE CONCEPTS AND THEORETICAL FRAMEWORKS THAT GUIDE THE PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION OF SUCH PROGRAMMES TO GUARANTEE QUALITY INCLUSIVE EDUCATION FOR ALL PUPILS. AUTONOMY OF JUDGEMENT: BY THE END OF THE MODULE THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO AUTONOMOUSLY MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS AND CHOICES WHEN DESIGNING COURSE PROGRAMMES THAT AIM AT PROVIDING AN INCLUSIVE AND HIGH-QUALITY EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR ALL CHILDREN ATTENDING NURSERIES OR PRE-SCHOOLS. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: BY THE END OF THE MODULE THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO COHERENTLY SUSTAIN THEIR ARGUMENTS BY MAKING REFERENCE TO THE THEORETICAL FRAMEWORKS PRESENTED DURING THE COURSE AND BY USING THE SPECIFIC LEXIS REQUIRED DURING THE ORAL EXAM. |

IN THIS RESPECT IT IS ASSUMED THAT THE STUDENT IS ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH THE BASIC ELEMENTS OF THE DISCIPLINE |

FOR THE MODULE "METODI E TECNICHE DEL GIOCO E DELL'ANIMAZIONE", THE EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE THEORIES AND TECHNIQUES FOR TEACHING THROUGH THE PLAY, ESPECIALLY FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD. THE COURSE WILL FOCUS ON THE THEORIES OF THE GAME IN ORDER TO PROMOTE THE ACQUISITION OF KNOWLEDGE AND PLAY PRACTICES. THE MAIN THEMES ARE: • PSYCHO-PEDAGOGICAL, PHILOSOPHICAL, SOCIOLOGICAL AND DIDACTIC PERSPECTIVES OF THE PLAY; • DESIGNING THE NURSERY AND CHILDCARE SERVICES: FIELDS OF EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND-INTEGRATORS AND LABORATORIES; • GAME, ANIMATION AND CHILDISH DESIGN; • CHILDREN MUSEUM AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES; • MEDIA, GAMES, VIDEO GAMES AND EDUCATIONAL PROCESSES. THE MODULE "PROGETTAZIONE INCLUSIVA DEI SERVIZI PER LA PRIMA INFANZIA" WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING THEMES: - INTRODUCTION TO THE KEY THEMES INHERENT TO INCLUSIVE PRACTICES AND COURSE PROGRAMMING FOR NURSERIES AND PRE-SCHOOLS FOR THE INTEGRATED SYSTEM 0-6 YEARS - REFLECTIONS ON THE VARIOUS APPROACHES TO COURSE PROGRAMMING, THE CURRICULUM AND THE CYCLE – DESIGN, OBSERVATION AND EVALUATION - DIFFERENT METHODS FOR INCLUSIVE COURSE PROGRAMMING - INCLUSIVE APPROACHES TO PROGRAMME PLANNING - MICRO AND MACRO PLANNING WITHIN AN INCLUSIVE PERSPECTIVE - THE CONTEXT, RESOURCES AND TOOLS WHEN DESIGNING COURSE PROGRAMMES – ANALYSIS OF THE SETTING, IDENTIFICATION OF SIZE AND TYPES OF GROUPS, ORGANISING SPACE, ALLOCATING TIME AND SETTING ROUTINES, THE CHOICE OF TEACHING RESOURCES - THE STAKEHOLDERS INVOLVED IN NURSERIES AND PRE-SCHOOLS: PLANNING COURSE PROGRAMMES THAT PROMOTE SYNERGIES AND COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS AMONG THE PROFESSIONAL AND NON-PROFESSIONAL STAKEHOLDERS |

THE STUDY-UNIT AIMS TO OFFER STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE A METHODOLOGY THAT CONVERTS THEORY INTO PRACTICE THROUGH LECTURES AND ON-LINE AND ON-THE-JOB TUTORIALS, COLLABORATIVE WORK TO LEARN TO WORK IN TEAMS AND MANAGE THEIR OWN STUDY PATH . METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS: FOR THE MODULE "METODI E TECNICHE DEL GIOCO E DELL'ANIMAZIONE" STUDENTS WILL EXPERIENCE GAME ACTIVITIES DIRECTLY, DOCUMENT SOME ASPECTS THAT EMERGE AND AT THE END OF THE COURSE THEY WILL DESIGN AND CONDUCT A GAMING SESSION: KNOW HOW TO DESIGN A GAMING ACTIVITY; KNOW HOW TO CONDUCT A GAMBLING ACTIVITY; KNOW HOW TO DOCUMENT A GAMING EXPERIENCE.
