CHRISTIANCARMINE ESPOSITO Curriculum

Christian Esposito is an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department (DI) of the University of Salerno from 2nd December 2022. He obtained his PhD in Computer Engineering and Automation (XXII cycle), at the University of Naples "Federico II", and the Five-year Degree in Computer Engineering, at the University of Naples "Federico II" in 2006.

Previously, from 2nd December 2019 to 1st December 2022, he was a tenured Assistant Professor (RTD.B) at the Computer Science Department (DI) of the University of Salerno, and from 27th December 2017 to 1st December 2019, he was a non-tenured Assistant Professor (RTD.A) at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (DIETI) of the University of Naples "Federico II", involved in research efforts on blockchain and Internet of Things carried out in the context of the Research Laboratory on founding technologies of the Internet of Things in the new headquarters in San Giovanni a Teduccio (NA). From February 2016 to January 2017 and from June 2017 to December 2017, he was a research fellow at the Computer Science Department (DI) of the University of Salerno. From January 2014 to April 2015, he held the position of Fixed-term Researcher (RTD) at the Naples office of the Institute of Computing and High Performance Networks of the National Research Council (ICAR-CNR), where from December 2011 to November 2013, he was also a research fellow. From June 2010 to August 2012, he was a Researcher transferred to the headquarters of the Critical Software company in Coimbra (5 months in 2011 and one month in 2012 respectively) and Porto (3 months in 2010) in Portugal, in the context of the European project. of the Marie Curie IAPP "CRITICAL STEP" type. From September 2010 to August 2011, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Computer Science and Systems (DIS) of the University of Naples "Federico II", in the context of the PRIN "DOTS-LCCI" project. He has held the role of contract professor at various universities in Campania for programming, basic computer science and architecture courses in the Bachelor's and Specialist degree courses relating to the disciplinary sectors INF/01 and ING-INF/05.

He is co-author of more than 100 scientific articles published in international journals, international book chapters and international conference proceedings and co-editor of various volumes. She has been a member of the Program Committee of numerous international conferences and workshops. He has provided consultancy as a reviewer for various international journals, Guest Editor for various Special Issues and is associate editor of Journal of Information Processing Systems (JIPS) and IEEE Access.

He has been involved as a participant and/or principal investigator for various research projects with national or international funding, collaborating with various academic and industrial partners on the issues of distributed systems, data modeling, dependability and infrastructure security.
