THE COURSE AIMS TO DEEPEN THE OBJECTIVES AND CHARACTERISTICS UNDERLYING THE PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC PROCESS AND TO ILLUSTRATE THE EPISTEMOLOGICAL, THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES UNDERLYING SOME OF THE MAIN MODELS OF PSYCHOTHERAPY (PSYCHOANALYTIC, SYSTEMIC-RELATIONAL, GESTALT, COGNITIVE-BEHAVIORAL, INTEGRATED AND STRATEGIC). THE COURSE WILL HIGHLIGHT DIFFERENCES AND SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT MODELS WHOSE CONSTITUENT ELEMENTS WILL ALSO BE ANALYZED FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH IN PSYCHOTHERAPY. EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES: KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL AND EPISTEMOLOGICAL ASSUMPTIONS OF THE DIFFERENT MODELS OF PSYCHOTHERAPY AND THEIR TECHNICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: UNDERSTANDING OF THE ASSUMPTIONS UNDERLYING THE PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC PROCESS, DEVELOPMENT OF THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL SKILLS WITH RESPECT TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC SETTING AND THE RELATED TECHNIQUES FOR TREATING PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTRESS AND THEIR APPLICABILITY. ABOUT THE SPORT AND WELLBEING MODULE, THIS COURSE AIMS AT ANALYZING PSYCHOLOGICAL AND NEUROSCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE OF WELL-BEING AND SPORT. SPECIAL ATTENTION IS GIVEN TO POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY, AND STRESS COPING STRATEGIES. MOREOVER, THE COURSE PROVIDES STUDENTS WITH KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF SPORT AND RESEARCH, AND THE FACTORS UNDERLYING OPTIMAL SPORT PERFORMANCE. THE GOAL IS TO UNDERSTAND HOW PHYSICAL EXERTION AND SPORT INFLUENCE PSYCHOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT, HEALTH AND WELLBEING. STUDENTS SHOULD DEMONSTRATE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING IN THIS FIELD OF STUDY THAT BUILDS UPON GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION AND IS AT A LEVEL SUPPORTED BY ADVANCED TEXTBOOKS; HAVE THE ABILITY TO IDENTIFY AND USE DATA TO FORMULATE RESPONSES TO WELL-DEFINED CONCRETE AND ABSTRACT PROBLEMS; COMMUNICATE ABOUT THEIR UNDERSTANDING, SKILLS AND ACTIVITIES; HAVE THE LEARNING SKILLS TO UNDERTAKE FURTHER STUDIES WITH SOME AUTONOMY. |
