Objectives
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES: THE LABORATORY AIMS TO DEEPEN THE THEMES AND TOPICS COVERED IN THE COURSE OF BASIC MATHEMATICS
EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING :
- BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF ARITHMETIC, LOGIC, MATHEMATICS AND PROBABILITY THEORY
- KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN RESEARCHES IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION AND OF THE VARIOUS DIDACTIC METHODOLOGIES IN THIS FIELD, IN PARTICULAR THOSE RELATED TO THE USE OF ARTIFACTS IN LABORATORY ACTIVITIES.
APPLIED KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING CAPABILITIES
- CAPABILITY TO APPLY ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE IN THE PROCESSING AND SOLVING SIMPLE AND MEANINGFUL PROBLEMS FOR MATHEMATICS EDUCATION IN PRIMARY SCHOOL AND, STARTING FROM THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE RESEARCH RESULTS IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION AND EXPLOITING THE LABORATORY EXPERIENCES EFFECTED DURING THE FORMATIVE ACTIVITY, TO BE ABLE TO USE IN CRITICAL WAY THE ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE IN THE FUTURE CONTEXT OF TEACHING.
