The objective will be the assessment of how religion by shaping ethnic background of later generations of immigrants influences their educational performance. This is believed to occur through the direct effect of ethnic background on youth's educational expectations and motivations to achieve.

L'obiettivo del lavoro é quello di verificare mediante un modello sia teorico sia empirico l'influenza dell'identità biculturale legata al processo di integrazione degli immigrati, sul processo di adattamento socioeconomico al Paese ospite. In particolare, si analizzerà come l'identità biculturale determini l'impegno e il conseguimento scolastico dei figli degli immigrati.
