THE COURSE COVERS LECTURES (45 HRS) AND CLASSROOM EXERCISES (15 HRS). IN CLASSROOM EXERCISES SIMPLE PROBLEMS PRACTICAL PROBLEMS ARE PRESENTED AND SOLVED. LECTURES ARE PROVIDED IN CLASSES IN THE PRESENCE OF STUDENTS. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. IN ORDER TO TAKE THE FINAL EXAM, THE STUDENT MUST HAVE ATTENDED AT LEAST 70% OF THE TEACHING HOURS. THE MODE OF VERIFICATION OF PRESENCE IS GENERALLY ELECTRONIC OR MADE BY THE TEACHER AT THE BEGINNING OF THE LESSONS. |
Verification of learning | |
---|---|
THE EVALUATION OF THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE SET OBJECTIVES WILL TAKE PLACE THROUGH AN INTERVIEW THAT WILL BE HELD AT THE END OF THE FORM. THE INTERVIEW WILL BE AIMED AT ASSESSING THE STUDENT'S ABILITY TO IDENTIFY AND DEFINE THE BEHAVIOR OF THE MATERIALS USED IN BUILDING, TO MAKE THE MOST APPROPRIATE CHOICES FOR THE FUNCTIONS REQUIRED TO THE MATERIALS. SIMPLE ANALYTICAL PROBLEMS WILL ALSO BE PROPOSED. THE EVALUATION AIMS TO VERIFY THE LEVEL OF LEARNING AND THE DEGREE OF ASSIMILATION OF THE SUBJECTS PRESENTED AND IS BASED ON THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ACQUIRED, ON THE CORRECTNESS OF EXPRESSION AND TERMINOLOGY, AND ON THE ABILITY TO CONNECT THE CONCEPTS. TO PASS THE INTERVIEW IT IS NECESSARY TO DEMONSTRATE AT LEAST THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DIFFERENT MATERIALS STUDIED. THE EVALUATION WILL TAKE ACCOUNT OF HOW THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE COMPLETE AUTONOMY IN THE EVALUATION AND CHOICE OF MATERIALS IN RELATION TO SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS. LANGUAGE PROPERTY AND EXPOSURE SKILLS WILL BE ASSESSED TO ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE. |
