Maria Giovanna CONFETTO Curriculum

Maria Giovanna CONFETTO, PhD, is confirmed Researcher  in Economics and Business Management for the scientific sector SECS / P08, Department of Political, Social and Communication Sciences,University of Salerno, Italy (since 2006).

She teaches and carries out research in Marketing, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Place Marketing and Place Communications, Content Marketing.


RESEARCH INTERESTS and ACTIVITY


Her current research focuses on the impact of Social Media Content on corporate reputation and corporate communications management.
She has published a book in 2004 (Un modello di comunicazione d'impresa ASV-based, Giappichelli, Torino) and one is in press (Social Media Content Management: creazione, condivisione, controllo, Giappichelli, Torino), and various book chapters.
She has published in a wide range of academic journals, including the Corporate Communications: an International Journal, Museum Management and Curatorship, The International Journal of Knowledge, Culture and Change Management, The International Journal of the Inclusive Museum, Sinergie.
She presented numerous competitive papers at several international conferences, including the Academy of Marketing Annual Conference, International Conference on Corporate and Marketing Communications, Conference on Corporate Communication, International Conference Marketing Trends, and Annual EuroMed Conference.  


TEACHING ACTIVITY (at University of Salerno)


In 2013-2014   she  has been lecturer in charge of E-Marketing for graduate students of Master Degree in Corporate Communication and
                            Pubblic Communication, teaching area of Communications Science.

           In 2008   she has been Member of the Commission of the final examination for the degree of Master in "Public Relations of
                            Organizations - Management Relations", organized by the Department of Communication Sciences of the University of
                            Salerno in partnership with FERPI (Italian Public Relations Federation), ASSOREL (Italian Association of Public Relations
                            Agencies) and Confindustria Salerno.

      From 2006
             to 2011  she has been lecturer in charge of Marketing and Communication for students of the first degree in Communication
                             Sciences.
