Objectives
PSYCHOLOGY OF WELL-BEING AND SPORT:
THE COURSE AIMS TO ANALYZE THE MAIN KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD
PSYCHOLOGICAL AND NEUROSCIENTIFIC RELATED TO WELL-BEING AND SPORT. THEY WILL COME
THE RESEARCH AND AREAS OF STUDY OF POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY PRESENTED, IN PARTICULAR
THE ISSUES OF STRESS AND STRATEGIES TO IMPROVE THE ABILITY TO
COPING WITH STRESS. ALSO, THE PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS WILL BE ANALYZED
BASIS OF HEALTH AND WELL-BEING. FINALLY, THE AREAS OF STUDY WILL BE PRESENTED

PSYCHOLOGICAL AIMED AT INCREASING AND IMPROVING SPORTS PERFORMANCE.
STUDENTS WILL HAVE TO DEMONSTRATE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: GETTING THERE
TO KNOWLEDGE, THROUGH ADVANCED TEXTBOOKS, OF SOME CUTTING-EDGE TOPICS IN THE
FIELD OF STUDY OF PSYCHOLOGY; KNOWING HOW TO COMMUNICATE INFORMATION, IDEAS, PROBLEMS E
SOLUTIONS FOR SPECIALISTS AND NON-SPECIALISTS. THEY WILL ALSO HAVE TO DEMONSTRATE
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: HAVING DEVELOPED THE SKILLS OF
LEARNING NECESSARY TO UNDERTAKEN SUBSEQUENT STUDIES WITH A HIGH DEGREE OF
AUTONOMY; CREATE AND SUPPORT ARGUMENTS IN THE FIELD OF PSYCHOLOGY
WELL-BEING AND SPORT. FINALLY, THEY WILL NEED TO ACHIEVE TRANSVERSAL SKILLS, SUCH AS
THE ABILITY TO DEEP INTO COMPLEX TOPICS IN THIS FIELD OF STUDY.

MODELS OF INTEGRATED PSYCHOTHERAPY:
THE COURSE AIMS TO DEEPEN THE OBJECTIVES AND CHARACTERISTICS UNDERLYING THE PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC PROCESS AND TO ILLUSTRATE THE EPISTEMOLOGICAL, THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES UNDERLYING SOME OF THE MAIN MODELS OF PSYCHOTHERAPY (PSYCHOANALYTIC, SYSTEMIC-RELATIONAL, GESTALT, COGNITIVE-BEHAVIORAL, INTEGRATED AND STRATEGIC). THE COURSE WILL HIGHLIGHT DIFFERENCES AND SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT MODELS WHOSE CONSTITUENT ELEMENTS WILL ALSO BE ANALYZED FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF EMPIRICAL RESEARCH IN PSYCHOTHERAPY.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEORETICAL AND EPISTEMOLOGICAL ASSUMPTIONS OF THE DIFFERENT MODELS OF PSYCHOTHERAPY AND THEIR TECHNICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: UNDERSTANDING OF THE ASSUMPTIONS UNDERLYING THE PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC PROCESS, DEVELOPMENT OF THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL SKILLS WITH RESPECT TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC SETTING AND THE RELATED TECHNIQUES FOR TREATING PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTRESS AND THEIR APPLICABILITY.

THE COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO TWO MODULES, (2 CFU AND 4 CFU RESPECTIVELY), DIVIDED AS FOLLOWS:

MODULE I – FUNDAMENTALS OF CLINICAL PSYCHOPATHOLOGY
• THE STRUCTURAL MODEL OF THE MIND (NEUROSIS, BORDERLINE STATES, AND PSYCHOSIS)
• THE DIAGNOSTIC PROCESS IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY

MODULE II – ELEMENTS OF PSYCHOTHERAPY
• THE PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC PROCESS: OBJECTIVES AND CHARACTERISTICS
• PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC ORIENTATIONS. METHODS AND TECHNIQUES:
-THE PSYCHOANALYTIC MODEL
-THE SYSTEMIC-RELATIONAL MODEL
-THE COGNITIVE-BEHAVIORAL MODEL
-THE STRATEGIC-INTEGRATED MODEL
Teaching Methods
PSYCHOLOGY OF WELL-BEING AND SPORT
THE TEACHING MAKES USE OF THE FOLLOWING METHODOLOGIES: LECTURES,
BRAINSTORMING AND PARTICIPATION IN SPECIALIST SEMINARS

MODELS OF INTEGRATED PSYCHOTHERAPY :
THE COURSE INCLUDES THE CONDUCT OF THEORETICAL LESSONS IN WHICH THE TOPICS OF THE COURSE ARE PRESENTED. FURTHERMORE, THE CONDUCTION OF SEMINARS HELD BY EXPERTS IN WHICH CLINICAL CASES WILL BE PRESENTED TO STUDENTS AIMED AT STIMULATING REFLECTION AND THE ABILITY TO CRITICAL JUDGMENT REGARDING THE PECULIARITIES OF EACH THERAPEUTIC APPROACH.

- ORAL EXAMINATION

MODELS OF INTEGRATED PSYCHOTHERAPY:
ACHIEVEMENT OF THE TEACHING OBJECTIVES IS ASCERTAINED BY PASSING AN ORAL TEST WITH A MARK OUT OF THIRTY.
THE EVALUATION OF THE EXAM CONSIDERS THE ABILITY OF THE STUDENT TO UNDERSTAND THE TOPICS COVERED BY THE COURSE AND TO CONNECT THESE TOGETHER, AS WELL AS THE ABILITY TO EXPLAIN THE TOPICS CLEARLY AND CONCISELY.
THE MINIMUM EVALUATION LEVEL (18/30) IS ASSIGNED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES UNCERTAINTY IN THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE TOPICS COVERED BY THE COURSE, AS WELL AS POOR PRESENTATION SKILLS. THE MAXIMUM LEVEL (30/30) IS AWARDED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES COMPLETE AND IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF THE TOPICS, MAKING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THEM AND EXPLAINING THE TOPICS IN A CLEAR AND CONCISE WAY. HONORS ARE AWARDED WHEN THE CANDIDATE DEMONSTRATES SIGNIFICANT COMPETENCE ABOUT THE THEORETICAL CONTENTS AND SHOWS THE ABILITY TO PRESENT THE TOPICS WITH NOTABLE OWNERSHIP OF LANGUAGE AND THE ABILITY TO ELABORATE AND MAKE INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT EVEN IN AREAS OTHER THAN THOSE PROPOSED BY THE TEACHER.


SINCE THE EXAM IS MODULAR, THE FINAL GRADE WILL BE OBTAINED FROM THE AVERAGE OF THE GRADES OBTAINED FOR EACH COURSE
