EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS AND COMPETENCE TO BE ACQUIRED: KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY FOR A SYSTEMATIC ANALYSIS OF THE MAIN HYDRAULIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING WORKS; KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAIN WATER SYSTEMS, THEIR FUNCTIONS, MAIN ELEMENTS AND RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THEM. KNOWLEDGE OF WATER DERIVATION, ADDUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION WORKS AND DRAINAGE SYSTEMS. KNOWLEDGE OF WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANTS AND SOLID WASTE TREATMENT PLANTS. SKILLS NECESSARY FOR THE CONTROL OF POLLUTION OF THE WATER ENVIRONMENT AND THE BASIC REFERENCES RELATING TO THE MANAGEMENT OF SOLID URBAN WASTE. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: ABILITY TO IDENTIFY THE DIFFERENT COMPONENTS OF WATER SYSTEMS AND UNDERSTAND HOW THEY WORK. ACQUISITION OF KNOWLEDGE TO UNDERSTAND THE PRINCIPLES AND FUNCTIONING MECHANISMS OF THE WATER TREATMENT. ACQUISITION OF UNDERSTANDING OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL CYCLE. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: KNOWING HOW DESIGN HYDRAULIC WORKS. IDENTIFY OPTIMAL MANAGEMENT CHARACTERISTICS OF WATER SYSTEMS. KNOWING THE METHODOLOGIES FOR THE DESIGN OF URBAN WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANTS. AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT: KNOWING HOW TO IDENTIFY THE CORRECT MANAGEMENT OF THE WATER RESOURCE AIMED AT ITS PROTECTION. THE COURSE OF TOTAL 12 CFU / 120 HOURS IS PROVIDED THROUGH TWO CONSECUTIVE MODULES OF 6 CFU / 60 HOURS. EACH MODULE INCLUDES FRONT LESSONS (4 OF 6 CFU / MODULE) AND EXERCISES IN THE CLASSROOM AND IN THE LABORATORIES OF THE DEPARTMENT (2 OF 6 CFU / MODULE). ADDITIONALLY MODULE I REQUIRES THE DRAFTING OF A PROJECT EXERCISE FOR WORKING GROUPS. LABORATORY EXERCISES WILL BE CARRIED OUT IN THE LABORATORY OF CALCULATION, THE HYDRAULI LABORATORY AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SANITARY LABORATORY, IN ORDER TO STIMULATE THE ABILITY OF CRITICAL JUDGMENT SKILLS AND ACTIVELY INVOLVE STUDENTS IN THE DIDACTIC PROCESS. TECHNICAL VISITS TO WATER SYSTEMS AND SANITARY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SYSTEM (TREATMENT PLANTS, LANDFILLS, ETC.) TWO TOTAL ORAL TESTS WILL CONTRIBUITE TO THE FINAL ASSESSMENT OF THE TEACHING, ONE REFERRED TO THE THEMES OF THE FIRST MODULE (PM1) AND ANOTHER FOR THE SECOND MODULE (PM2). THE EXAM IS PASSED WITH A RELATIVE VALUE OF THE TWO MODULES, AT LEAST AT 18/30 (PM1 18/30, PM2 18/30). TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE ASSESSMENT OF THE LEARNING OF THE THEMES ADDRESSED IN THE SECOND MODULE, WOULD HAVE REACHED A COMPLETE FINAL EVALUATION CONCERNING THE FIRST MODULE AT LEAST AT 18/30. THE OVERALL EVALUATION WILL BE EQUAL TO THE AVERAGE OF THE EVALUATIONS RELATED TO THE TWO MODULES, EXPRESSED IN THIRTIETHS, PC = (PM1+ PM2)/30. THE HONOR IS ATTRIBUTED WHEN THE CANDIDATE SHOWS AN EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE. THE COURSE ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY TO ACCESS THE EXAMS OF THE TWO MODULES. THE ORAL TEST CONSISTS OF A DISCUSSION AIMED TO ENSURE THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY OF UNDERSTANDING REACHED BY THE STUDENT ON THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL CONTENT INDICATED IN THE PROGRAM. THE ORAL EXAMINATION WILL ALSO ALLOW TO VERIFY THE STUDENT'S COMMUNICATION CAPACITY WITH PROPERTIES OF LANGUAGE AND AUTONOMOUS ORGANIZATION OF THE EXHIBITION ON THE SAME THEORETICAL CONTENT. THE DISCUSSION OF A TECHNICAL DOCUMENT PRODUCED BY THE STUDENT IN GROUP ON A CASE STUDY PROPOSED BY THE TEACHER AS A LABORATORY ACTIVITY IS INTENDED. THE EVALUATION OF THE ORAL TEST WILL BE CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF THE FOLLOWING INDICATORS: COMPLETENESS, EXPOSURE, RELEVANCE. THE EXAM OF THE FIRST MODULE IS PASSED WITH A TOTAL EVALUATION AT LEAST 18/30 (PM1 18/30). THE SECOD TEST, ORAL, PM2 HAS AS A OBJECTIVE THE EVALUATION OF THE ACQUISITION OF THE COMPETENCES RELATED TO THE TOPICS OF THE SECOND MODULE. THE ORAL EXAMINATION INCLUDES THEORICAL, TECHNICAL AND APPLICATION QUESTIONS REGARDING THE SECOND MODULE TOPICS. PROPOSITIO, DISCUSSION AND PERFORMANCE OF REAL EXAMPLES WILL BE USED FOR THE VERIFICATION OF THE UNDERSTANDING CAPACITIES AND KNOWLEDGE, AND COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS IN THE SECOND MODULE TOPICS. AT LEAST 4 QUESTIONS ON THE DIFFERENT THEMES OF THE COURSE WILL BE FORMULATED. ACCORDING TO THE EVALUATION OF THE EXAM, A SCORE SHOULD BE ASSIGNED IN THIRTIETHS (FROM 0 TO 30 POINTS), P3 / 30 (= PM2). THE MINIMUM EVALUATION LEVEL (18) IS ATTRIBUTED WHEN THE STUDENT HAS A SUFFICIENT KNOWLEDGE. THE MAXIMUM LEVEL (30) IS ATTRIBUTED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES EXCELLENT AND DEEPENED KNOWLEDGE. |
