TO GIVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE BASICS OF THE MAJOR CLASSICAL METHODS OF ANALYSIS. TO GIVE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT STRUCTURE-FUNCTION RELATIONSHIP OF BIOLOGICAL MACROMOLECULES AND ABOUT THE MAIN METHODS OF INVESTIGATION IN BIOCHEMISTRY AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY. TO DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO INTERPRET AND PERFORM AN ANALYTICAL PROTOCOL, AND DESCRIBE THE RESULTS WITH MATHEMATICAL RIGOR. TO STIMULATE THE ABILITY OF UNDERSTAND AND APPLY AN EXPERIMENTAL PROTOCOL CONCERNING HANDLING OF BIOMOLECULES. TO DEVELOP SKILLS TO DISCUSS AND ANALYZE SCIENTIFIC TOPICS.
