Mariagrazia DE MEO Curriculum

2008-until today - Mariagrazia De Meo is a researcher in English Language and Linguistics at the Faculty of Education – University of Salerno, and teaches English at the same Faculty. Her areas of interest are also sociolinguistics, pragmatics and language teaching. More recently her research has focused on audio-visual translation and subtitling of culture-bound language.

 

2004-2008 - Lecturer in English Language and Linguistics at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature – University of Salerno

 

2005 - Language assistant in Norway in the Socrates –Comenius 2.2. programme. 

 

2002-2004 - Teaching Manager within the National project Campus One, at the Faculty of English Languages and Literature in Salerno, monitoring the Faculty courses, supporting the students and organizing work placements.

2001-2003 – Lecturer in English language and Linguistics at the University of Napoli “L’Orientale".

2000-2003 - English language teacher for the UCLES (University of Cambridge) Preliminary English Test (PET) and First Certificate in English (FCE), at the Language Centre  of the University of Salerno.  

2002 – Teacher training course: ‘Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA)’ at the British Council in Napoli.

2001- Teacher training course: ‘The Creative Pilgrims Teacher Course’, University of Kent, UK.

2000 - Teaching certification to teach English at High School.

1999 - Master of Arts in Translation Studies at the University of Warwick, UK.

1996 – First Class Honour Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, University of Napoli “L’Orientale”.
