THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE HISTORICAL-CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY FOR AN IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEMS AND PERSPECTIVES THAT CHARACTERISE THE MOST UP-TO-DATE DEVELOPMENTS IN THE CRITICAL DEBATE RELATING TO ART HISTORICAL DISCIPLINES. PARTICULAR ATTENTION WILL BE GIVEN TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE CONTEMPORARY EXHIBITION SYSTEM, HIGHLIGHTING ITS TRANSFORMATIONS AND PROPOSALS IN THE LIGHT OF THE DIFFERENT POSITIONS THAT MARK THE INTERNATIONAL MUSEOLOGICAL REFLECTION. KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION SKILLS THANKS TO THE CRITICAL STUDY OF THE CONTEMPORARY DEBATE AND THE ANALYSIS OF EXHIBITION EXPERIENCES OF PARTICULAR RELEVANCE, THE PHD STUDENT WILL ACQUIRE IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF THE DIFFERENT PROFESSIONAL PROFILES INVOLVED IN THE RESEARCH AND VALORISATION OF THE HISTORICAL-ARTISTIC HERITAGE AND THE EXHIBITION SYSTEM. ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING THE PHD STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO AUTONOMOUSLY AND ETHICALLY PLAN AND ORGANISE ACTIVITIES OF PROMOTION, DEVELOPMENT, PROTECTION, TEACHING AND RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF CULTURAL HERITAGE AND THE EXHIBITION SYSTEM BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE. AUTONOMY OF JUDGEMENT THE DOCTORAL STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO SELECT AND EXAMINE ALTERNATIVE POSITIONS AND DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES OF JUDGEMENT; TO FORMULATE PERSONAL DEDUCTIONS IN AWARENESS OF THE COMPLEXITY OF CRITICAL JUDGEMENT; TO DEVELOP A PERSONAL VISION IN RELATION TO METHODS OF ANALYSIS, MANAGEMENT AND DESIGN IN THE FIELD OF HISTORICAL AND ARTISTIC HERITAGE AND THE EXHIBITION SYSTEM COMMUNICATION SKILLS THROUGH SEMINAR ACTIVITIES, THE COURSE ALSO AIMS TO ENHANCE THE DOCTORAL STUDENT'S COMMUNICATION SKILLS BY PERFECTING HIS OR HER SPECIFIC LANGUAGE SKILLS. LEARNING SKILLS THE DOCTORAL STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO USE, WITH MATURITY AND CRITICAL SENSE, THE BIBLIOGRAPHICAL TOOLS NECESSARY FOR THE KNOWLEDGE AND IN-DEPTH STUDY OF THE TOPICS COVERED AND WILL ACQUIRE THE NECESSARY SKILLS AND COMPETENCES |

THE COURSE INTENDS TO PROPOSE AN ARTICULATED REFLECTION ON THE THEME OF THE CENTRALITY OF ARCHIVES AND, IN PARTICULAR, OF ART ARCHIVES IN THE CONTEXT OF CONTEMPORARY CRITICAL DEBATE AND CURATORIAL PRACTICE. THE THEME WILL BE TACKLED ACCORDING TO PLURAL PERSPECTIVES THROUGH THE DISCUSSION OF THEORETICAL TEXTS AND THE ANALYSIS, ALSO ON SITE, OF EXEMPLARY EXPERIENCES. |
